Kerri Carpenter is a lawyer, entrepreneur and hockey player/mom. Kerri studied Economics at Dalhousie University and earned her undergraduate degree in 1994. Having entered the workforce for several years, she then went on to complete her law degree at the University of New Brunswick.
Kerri began her legal career by entering private practice in New Brunswick, moving home to Prince Edward Island after a few years.
After several years of private practice with a regional firm in Charlottetown, Kerri opened her own firm, Kerri Carpenter Law Office. With a diverse client base, her practice included civil litigation, all areas of business, commercial and contract law, real property, and wills and estates.
Kerri now practices primarily in the area of immigration law and facilitating foreign work placements and investment opportunities.
Kerri is the former Chair of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) PEI Branch Immigration Law Section and is currently serving as the CBA PEI Branch President.
